Dale EMS and Rescue Squad was formed on July 10, 2018 by a team of community volunteers utilizing personal donations from our volunteer members. Once incorporated, the squad quickly worked to go into operation and became a licensed ALS2 ambulance service the first of January 2019. We answered our first call for service soon thereafter. Our initial coverage area was the Town of Newton and the Town of Pinckard. Our service does not receive any funds from the EMS tag fees. We have been able to sustain operations with donations and grants.
