The Dale EMS and Rescue Squad Board of Directors are elected by the active membership of the squad and serve two year terms whereas we will have continuity on the board (staggered terms).
The duties for handling the management of the squad are divided up amongst the members of the Board of Directors. There are checks and balance.
Kevin Turley was a founding member of Dale EMS and Rescue Squad. He has been a licensed emergency medical professional since 1997. Turley is currently a Nationally Registered and state licensed Advanced EMT as well as a SARTECH. Turley was a medic in the USAF Reserves. Turley is an instructor for multiple courses and has taught free of charge or at cost for area agencies. Turley has served as the elected Captain since the founding of the squad.
Turley is a lifetime member of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians where he serves as the Alabama Advocacy Coordinator. Turley is also an active member of the Alabama Association of Rescue Squads.
Turley is responsible for the day to day operations of Dale EMS and Rescue Squad.
Cheyenne Turley is a founding member of Dale EMS and Rescue Squad. She has been is currently a Nationally Registered and state licensed Advanced EMT. Turley is an instructor for multiple courses and has taught free of charge or at cost for area agencies. Turley had served as the elected Secretary on the Board of Directors upon the founding of the squad. Turley was elected to the position of First Lieutenant in 2019.
Turley is a lifetime member of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians. Turley is also an active member of the Alabama Association of Rescue Squads.
Second Lieutenant Helaine Moesner is a Nationally registered and Alabama State licensed EMT.
Moesner has served our nation for over 30 years in the US Army prior to beginning her service to the local community as an EMS volunteer. She attended Wilderness First Responder/EMT course taught by the National Outdoor Leadership School, in Lander, WY.
She was elected Second Lieutenant in May 2021.
Sergeant Chris Blocker was a founding member of Dale EMS and Rescue Squad. Blocker had been an active volunteer in his community long before helping form Dale EMS and Rescue Squad. Blocker was elected to the position of Sergeant in 2019.
Blocker is an active member of the Alabama Association of Rescue Squads.
Terri German had been active in her community as a servant long before joining the Dale EMS and Rescue Squad family. German successfully completed the Emergency Care Provider and Emergency Vehicle Operator courses with our team and she has dedicated many volunteer hours in the emergency vehicle as well as in administrative details. German was elected to serve as the Secretsry on the Board of Directors.
German is an active member of the Alabama Association of Rescue Squads.
Alicia Taylor has served her community long before joining the family of the Dale EMS and Rescue Squad. Taylor has completed the Emergency Medical Responder and Emergency Vehicle Operator courses. Taylor was elected to serve as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Dale EMS and Rescue Squad.
Taylor is an active member of the Alabama Association of Rescue Squads.
Candice Marchand served her community as an EMT prior to becoming a founding member of the Dale EMS and Rescue Squad. Marchand is a Nationally Registered and state licensed Emergency Medical Technician and was elected to serve as the Chaplain on the Board of Directors of Dale EMS and Rescue Squad.
Marchand is an active member of the Alabama Association of Rescue Squads.
The Chaplains role is to look out for the well being of all squad members and those we serve.
